The Movies @ the Mann series kicks off on Saturday, July 23 with the acclaimed Harry Potter™ franchise: Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone™ In Concert. Fans of all generations can join the celebration of the film’s 20th anniversary, as The Philadelphia Orchestra closes out its summer residency at the Mann performing Oscar®-winning composer John Williams’ memorable soundtrack. Next up is a sing-along spectacular for the whole family when Encanto: The Sing-Along Film Concert comes to the Mann with a live band on Tuesday, Aug. 16. This film from Walt Disney Animation Studios was a breakout success when released in 2021. Now, Encanto fans – both the young and young-at-heart – can enjoy the magical story again, this time on giant screens outdoors, while singing their favorite songs from the movie along with a live band.
Movies @ the Mann concludes its 2022 run with a very special finale. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the film’s original release, The Godfather Live comes to the Mann on Thursday, Sept. 29. The 10-time Academy Award®-winning film will be accompanied by The Philly POPS’ performance of composer Nino Rota’s Oscar®-nominated score.
“Our Movies @ the Mann series has become an annual tradition, and our 2022 line up has got something for movie-goers of all ages,” said Catherine M.
