Faces of Philanthropy 2023: Announcing this year’s honorees

by Lisa Dukart | The Philadelphia Business Journal

The Philadelphia Business Journal announces its 2023 Faces of Philanthropy honorees.

Giving is built into some organizations, which continuously seek to better the communities they work in and serve. Others strive to implement their own social and charitable initiatives to make an impact. The Philadelphia Business Journal annually recognizes such efforts across the region through our Faces of Philanthropy program.

This year, the Business Journal is honoring 30 philanthropic partnerships in Greater Philadelphia, including one Editor's Choice honoree. With the exception of the Editor's Choice pick, partnerships were nominated by the public and selected by the Business Journal's editorial board based on community impact over the past year, as well as for the organizations' body of charitable work over multiple years.

To be considered, the organizations involved in each partnership must be located within Greater Philadelphia.

Honorees will be celebrated at a live event at Rivers Casino on April 13 and in a special edition of the Business Journal on April 14.
