The Mann's free Young People's Concert Series returns on May 13 with Cultural Journeys!
Cultural Journeys will showcase four Philadelphia based organizations and performing artists: Al Bustan Seeds of Culture (Middle Eastern), Ballet Folklorico Yaretzi (Mexican), Kulu Mele African Dance and Drum Ensemble (West African), and Modero and Co. (Indonesian). To help weave the beautiful and impactful stories from each performance, storyteller and artist Nikki Powerhouse will host the event.
• Approximate running time for this event is 60 minutes.
• Gates open at 9:50AM and the performance begins at 10:30AM.
• Parking is FREE! Transportation will not be provided.
• Seating is general admission and is on a first-come, first-served basis.
• No tickets will be issued, however, registration is required in advance.
• Backpacks will not be permitted into the theater for this event.
• Due to the length of our engaging show, we ask that all students bring their own bag lunch.

About Young People's Concert Series: This series is part of our Education team's Creative Placemaking initiatives, helping to promote growth and enhancements to quality of life within our community through arts and culture programming. YPCS provides culturally diverse performing arts programs accessible to students, grades K – 12, and families in our TD Pavilion, and are presented free of charge. Events feature performances by internationally acclaimed, emerging, and regional young artists on our Presser Foundation Stage.
