There's an all new way to love music in Philadelphia this summer – introducing the Skyline Stage @ the Mann.  Located at the top of the Mann’s Fairmount Park grounds, the Skyline Stage will compliment the Mann’s summer season by giving the Mann an opportunity to expand its concert offerings with a new kind of intimate experience.  Concert-goers will have access to all of the Mann’s preexisting amenities including distinctive concessions. Skyline Stage is set to accommodate anywhere between 500 and 4,000 patrons in a general admission setting.  Audiences can expect a truly unique open-air event on the grass, in the park, framed by the best view of Philadelphia’s skyline.

A select concert series will be presented on the Skyline Stage this summer, including two shows with Sigur Rós July 29th & 30th, marking the enigmatic band’s highly-anticipated return to the live stage after a four-year hiatus. The July 30th performance is sold out. The July 29th show was recently added due to popular demand.

“For the past two years, Pollstar has named the Mann as one of the best outdoor music venues in North America.  Our new performance space is another step in the evolution of the Mann’s growing success and recognition.  The Skyline Stage is an opportunity to continue to build on our reputation of presenting all genres of world-class music for the Mann’s ever-growing fanbase.  The Skyline Stages gives us the ability to enhance our summer season here in Fairmount Park,” said Catherine M. Cahill, President and CEO of the Mann.

“The addition of the Skyline Stage @ the Mann gives both the artists and the fans a chance to enjoy the amazing atmosphere of the Mann in a general admission standing room configuration,” said Mark Shulman, VP and GM of AEG Live Northeast.   “The Skyline Stage will enable fans to experience the Mann in another exciting way.”
