This Little Light of Mine—The stories of Marion Anderson and Leontyne Price with additional acknowledgment of Todd Duncan, Anne Brown, Dorothy Maynor and Shirley Verrett was written by Adrienne Danrich—an inventive one-woman musical tribute honoring the groundbreaking careers of these opera legends. Ms. Danrich provides the “live” aspect of the show by narrating the story as well as singing various songs and arias. Ms. Danrich documents the lives of these legends by showing photos and playing famous recordings.
