Jerry W. Grabey, Vice President & General Manager
Mr. Grabey has been with the Mann Center since 1977, serving as Stage and Theater Manager before assuming his current position. As General Manager Mr. Grabey oversees all aspects of physical operations and works closely with the overall management team on programming, and contracting. With his in-depth experience and long-time working relationships in the entertainment industry, he also works closely with the management team on programming development and contracting.

Nancy R. Newman, Vice President & Director of Institutional Advancement
Ms. Newman joined The Mann in April 2000 as Director of Development, where she has excelled at expanding and solidifying its fundraising efforts. She is responsible for the management of all aspects of development including individual, corporate and foundation fundraising as well as special events. In addition, Ms. Newman directs The Mann’s $14.2 million capital campaign. Prior to joining The Mann staff, Ms. Newman held positions as Director of Marketing and Management Consulting for a wholly owned subsidiary of Cigna and then as Director of Membership and Fundraising for The Friends of Independence National Historical Park.

Rhoda Blount, Director of Education and Outreach
Ms. Blount annually produces The Mann’s Young People’s Concert Series and the touring outreach initiative project, Connecting Arts-N-Schools. In her career, Ms. Blount has served as Program Director for the Philadelphia Clef Club of Jazz & Performing Arts, Jazz Series Producer for The American Jazz Museum, Artistic Director for the PECO Energy Jazz Festival, Jazz Program Director for the African American Museum, Special Projects Director for Freedom Theater, Development Director for WRTI-FM, Temple University Public Radio, and Promotional Coordinator for The Philadelphia Kool Jazz Festival.
